Turquoise, Silver, and Wood Necklace
The ancients believed that turquoise was a protective stone to be used only for goodness, and a master healer.
Turquoise is the focal point of this necklace. Two high polished sterling silver bands have been riveted over the stone. The center band holds a hand-cut piece of African Blackwood, which has been bezel set to accent the dark browns that appear in the turquoise. Hand carved mahogany beads, silver tubing, and sterling links create the 16" to 18" adjustable made chain.
This pendant measures 2" in width and 1 1/2" in length.
